HON LAGEN DAVID ATUKA CALLS FOR FUNDINGS FROM DIFFERENT ENTITIES AROUND THE GLOBE TO GENEROUSLY SUPPORT OLIK PRIMARY SCHOOL IN AJALI SUBCOUNTY WHICH HE ESTABLISHED

Olik primary school is a community based school founded by Hon Lagen David Atuka in 2022 at Otumpili parish with about 1000 persons in Ajali subcounty Agago district. The school which now has an enrollment of about 300 pupils lack permanent classroom blocks, forcing some learners to study under trees. The dilapidated school lacks classroom furniture's for learning pupils to seat on, constraining the young ones to seat on stones and some on the flow. The Legislator says that since the community donated their land where the school is seated on, He paid a construction management service an amount of 6Million to draw the school plan which is apparently done. Agago county Member of Parliament says he is currently incapacitated to raise amount of Money to start off the foundation after the community completed laying of bricks ready for construction. The school contains a care taking Head teacher with four parental teachers. According to the Head teacher, parents have been bringing their children but because of limited classrooms, they are forced to turn them away and advise them to take to other schools which the distance doesn't suit the young ones with the ongoing insecurity. He says whenever the weather changes, they are forced to take their children back home because the structures are not safe. even if it stops raining they cannot afford to take back their children because the classes become wet, well aware that they seat on the flow. Hon Lagen David exclaims well wishers from across the globe but particularly the Government of the Republic of Uganda to take keen interest of the school, be in position to Code it such that it can be included on the National Budget  as early as possible. Lawang Lutedero says he understands the local government operates on budgets which cant be altered however The Education system of Agago and Acholi sub region needs to be fully empowered. Agago district as always fully supported the serving Government and therefore the government must prioritize the district and quicken on the Bureaucracies especially on the Education Sector. HON LAGEN DAVID ATUKA WISHES ACHOLI COMMUNITY AND UGANDA AT LARGE HAPPY LABOUR DAY

On this day as we celebrate Labour Day, , my spotlight is on Agago district progress and the challenges encountered on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hon Lagen David cited that he committed to SDGs in 2010 before attaining a political position, setting a roadmap for developing the district until 2040. The legislator tasked experts from within the district, local leaders and social development to weigh Agago's journey on lasting sustainable development. A number of reports highlights crucial components that empowered sustainable development and partnerships within the district.   My focus from a way back as been on improving livelihoods, progressing the Health system ,Education and most importantly Agricultural production. Our district is yet to achieve unlimited progress if we the leaders and the community collectively work together. Political fights and uncalled for hatred shall always decline on the rapid progress of Agago, he cited. LAWANG LUTEDERO. ...
