Hon Lagen David Fulfills his promise of closely working with the State together with security personnel in achieving total peace along the porous border points used as entry and exit locations by the armed cattle thugs from the Karamoja region.

 Early last year, Hon Lagen confirms the fulfillment of His request from first son Muhoozi keinerugaba , the presidential advisor in charge of Operations for cattle compensation, adding more Battalion of UPDF soldiers in Namukora, special UPDF Commandos and Helicopters to strengthen on the security of the district. Following an interview with the 5th division Spokesperson Amos Nsamba, He said strategic deployments were considered in Agago. Lawang Lutedero promises to work tirelessly together with the local leaders of the district, the government and different entities in ensuring that the known spots of the cattle raiders are closed. He has been seen often times summoning the communities to learn how to co exist with the UPDF Soldiers to avoid tension that may arise between them and the soldiers while in the line of duties.
