HEADWAY DISCUSSION WITH KAMPALA CAPITAL CITY DIRECTOR IN PREPARATION FOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS OF PROGRESSING PATONGO TOWN COUNCIL TO A MUNICIPAL

Hon. David Lagen Atuka and Nwoya member of parliament Tony Awany meets the KCCA Director for a review of the bureaucracy on the developmental activities to be extended in their respective towns.

Patongo Town-council and Anaka is set to benefit from the KCCA's technical support in preparation for the upcoming development progress that could lead Patongo town council and Anaka into a Municipality status sooner. The two MPs have united in achieving the progression and making prior follow ups to quicken the bureaucracy . Our goal is to extensively drive most essential public services to the least person in Agago such has  health and safe environment and most importantly utilities like power supply and its stability to boost economic activities to mention in the area.

Speaking to media, Agago county Mp noted that his vision right even before becoming a Member of Parliament was to empower the Gross Domestic Product of Agago which he says he is half way to achieve. I have been working extra hard and being a national leader and the founder of Patongo Youth Centre, so many people are reaching me out for vocational and educational investment which am upholding though I cannot afford consistently just as an individual due to a few challenges, it calls for serious affirmative actions and collective unity and as a National figure I must foster a developmental progression and that is turning Patongo Town to a Municipality. He stated that the towns beneath Agago county contribute immensely to the Revenue of the local government but because of wide range of boundaries, services cant effectively reach the least person in the constituency.

We need to underscore resource allocation equitably to improve the livelihoods of Ugandans.

HON LAGEN DAVID ATUKA WISHES ACHOLI COMMUNITY AND UGANDA AT LARGE HAPPY LABOUR DAY

On this day as we celebrate Labour Day, , my spotlight is on Agago district progress and the challenges encountered on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hon Lagen David cited that he committed to SDGs in 2010 before attaining a political position, setting a roadmap for developing the district until 2040. The legislator tasked experts from within the district, local leaders and social development to weigh Agago's journey on lasting sustainable development. A number of reports highlights crucial components that empowered sustainable development and partnerships within the district.   My focus from a way back as been on improving livelihoods, progressing the Health system ,Education and most importantly Agricultural production. Our district is yet to achieve unlimited progress if we the leaders and the community collectively work together. Political fights and uncalled for hatred shall always decline on the rapid progress of Agago, he cited. LAWANG LUTEDERO. ...
