I am dedicated towards partnering with different stakeholders, Government of Uganda in improving the lives of children with disabilities in Uganda, Hon Lagen David shared his thoughts as a panelist during the African Disability Summit 2024.

 The African Disability Summit 2024 that was held at the UMA Multipurpose Hall on July 5-6, was concluded with groundbreaking innovations and commitments to enhance assistive technologies for children with disabilities across Africa. Keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions highlighted the importance of locally-driven innovations and service models, leading to a deeper understanding of assistive technologies’ role in early childhood development. Agago county Member of Parliament who happened to be among the panelists noted that the summit aimed to create a more inclusive Africa by advocating for increased access to essential assistive technologies such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, eyeglasses, walking aids, and braille machines. AGAGO COUNTY MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT SURVEYING THE HILLS, WHICH ARE THE HIDING PLACES OF THE NOTORIOUS KARAMOJONG CATTLE RAIDERS

Just after a few weeks of attack, Hon surveyed the hiding places of the stubborn  Karamojong cattle raiders earlier on within the bordering areas , he cited a number of achievements and a few barriers further to be focused on but also applauded his colleagues among which are Hon Okot John Amos, Hon Anywar Ricky and Mego Minister for the collective efforts towards the objective of contending the insecurity level that was within and outside the boarders of the district .
