Government started allocating 1 Billion each financial year for road maintenance in Agago District

  Following the request from Agago member's of Parliament, government started  allocating the district Shs1 billion for maintenance of roads outside the Uganda National Roads Authority jurisdiction. This was revealed by Lawang Lutedero Hon Lagen David Atuka while carrying out inspection and monitoring of UNRA and Local government roads in Agago District on Tuesday this week. His outstanding commitment towards development depicts the Agago we want to see tomorrow.  The 11th parliament has often shouldered the burden of road maintenance and the people of Agago  will always remember this Parliament for this money. HON LAGEN DAVID ATUKA EMPOWERING ONE OF THE VILLAGE SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION IN AGAGO COUNTY

  Most families in Agago county don't usually have flexible  access to banking services making lending, loaning and saving difficult. Agago being a agricultural community, vulnerable to economic shocks like illness, death or natural disasters. Financial vulnerability  within the constituency is a key driver of poverty and unstable income in the society.
